Baseball Concession Area Adds Curb Appeal

In West Des Moines, one of the projects the Parks & Recreation Department had going this year was renovating the common areas around the concession building in the Holiday Park Baseball Field.

The ForeverLawn Des Moines team installed Playground Grass Ultra in an area by the concession stands in the baseball park. This is a memorial area that will be used for photo opportunities for the teams; having lush green grass at all times is important.

The entire space is in the shape of a baseball. We laid artificial turf to cover the center of the baseball, curving along the edges as the seam in a baseball. We trimmed to accommodate the flag pole in the center of the area.
